Don: hygrophorus pudorinus -- what do you think?
found in conifer woods, waxy feel to the cap and gills......... any suggestions?
Sava: Today I found probably the same thing (second picture ) and I provisionally called it Hygrophorus russula. Your bet is better. We need to consult the Key Council key for Hygrophorus.
