Quinn: Sorry for the bad pictures, I only had my phone on me at the time.
This particular mushroom is seen at the top of the bunch.
It measures 28 centimeters across. The largest specimen was about 35 cm across.
There is no visible stipe and the gill edges are not serrated. The spores are white.
Has anyone seen any pleurotoid specimens get this large?
My concern around id is that these mushrooms might be particularly large for some random reason,
therefore some identifying characteristics would be exaggerated.
